The PADI Underwater Naturalist Course

Look closer to see more on your next dive. Look for symbioses, predator/prey and other relationships between aquatic plant and animal life. Learn not just what fish and animals are, but how they interact with each other and the environment. The Fun Part Learn about why some creatures behave the way they do and what their role is in the aquatic ecosystem.

What You Learn

• The major aquatic life groupings, interactions and factual information that dispels negative myths.
• The role of aquatic plants, food chains and predator prey relationships.
• esponsible interactions with aquatic life.
• The underwater naturalist's view of organisms and their roles in the environment.

You put this information into practice during your two open water dives.

Prerequisites

• Divers must be at least 10 Years old
• Jr. Open Water Diver or Qualifying rating from another training organisation
• Underwater Naturalist Crewpak

Your Certification Card

We will help you fill out the Personal Identification Card to be sent to PADI along with a passport photograph. We will also issue you with a temporary card that is valid for 90 days. That should be plenty of time to receive your shiny new certification card from PADI.

If you wish, at the time of sending the PIC, you can also request a PADI Project Aware emblem on your card, by making a small donation to this organisation.
