The PADI Deep Diver Course

After your first few scuba dives, you soon want to explore a bit deeper. There’s something exciting and mysterious about the depth that attracts divers. The Fun Part The fun part about this course is the opportunity to explore the deep. It’s memorable and exhilarating.

What You Learn

• Techniques for diving in the deeper  range of 18-40 metres/ 60-130 feet
• Deep scuba diving equipment considerations
• Experience in planning, organizing and making at least four deep dives under the supervision of your PADI Instructor

Prerequisites

• Divers must be at least 15 Years old
• Advanced Open Water Diver or Qualifying rating from another training organisation
• PADI Deep Diver Crewpak

The Gear You'll Need:

A basic set of scuba equipment and dive regulator, we can provide you this if you do not have your own gear, we will also be happy to help you purchase a set from a local supplier if you wish.

Your Certification Card

We will help you fill out the Personal Identification Card to be sent to PADI along with a passport photograph. We will also issue you with a temporary card that is valid for 90 days. That should be plenty of time to receive your shiny new certification card from PADI.

If you wish, at the time of sending the PIC, you can also request a PADI Project Aware emblem on your card, by making a small donation to this organisation.

Your Next Adventure

Many shipwrecks are often found in deeper water. That’s why the PADI Deep Diver course is a natural companion to the PADI Wreck Diver course. Sometimes you can take these two specialties concurrently.
