What You LearnEmergency First Response courses encompass: Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise. Course Theory:The course takes place in our class room, there is a DVD to watch and a manual to go through with emphasis on Adult CPR. There are some knowledge reviews, quizzes and a final exam. The Fun Part: Practical Lessons

You’ll use the DVD during independent study or classroom sessions to preview the skill and concepts you’ll learn during the practical hands on skill practice session with your instructor. The DVD provides a visual rich overview of the concepts explained in the Emergency First Response Participant manual and is also an excellent resource to refresh your skills after your compete the course. Your Certification CardWe will help you fill out the Personal Identification Card to be sent to PADI along with a passport photograph. We will also issue you with a temporary card that is valid for 90 days. That should be plenty of time to receive your shiny new certification card from PADI. If you wish, at the time of sending the PIC, you can also request a PADI Project Aware emblem on your card, by making a small donation to this organisation.

Specialties Course Completion:Training for the Primary and Secondary Care courses is valid for two years. After successfully completing the course, participants receive a course completion card. Emergency Responders can refresh their skills through a short skills practice session or as part of a regular Emergency First Response class.
